Restorative Therapy

Whenever we experience pain in the body, it is usually a result of dysfunction. Dysfunction is usually caused by imbalance. somewhere in the body. The area of pain might not necessarily be the problem, but rather a symptom. In order to address the pain effectively, we need to understand how the body works. Restorative therapy is a holistic approach to soft tissue treatment for pain, tightness, discomfort or a loss of range of motion. Each session is a collaborative effort where the therapist facilitates identifying the areas that need to be addressed, and the client focuses on relaxing to allow the muscle to release,. Restorative therapy is ideal for Upper Crossed Syndrome , Lower Crossed Syndrome, range of motion restrictions, tension headaches and migraines, and tight muscles among others. Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapy that treats the feet or hands in order to balance the whole body. By massaging and applying pressure to parts of the feet and hands known as reflex areas , other corresponding and connected areas of the body will feel the benefit. In reflexology, the feet and hands are like mini-maps of the body's anatomy so any body system can be accessed and manipulated by massaging the corresponding area of the foot or hand. Lymphatic drainage massage

The lymphatic system is part of the circulatory and immune systems. It moves lymph fluid, a clear, white fluid that circulates through the lymphatic system picking up waste, bacteria and viruses. It contains white blood cells, including lymphocytes. Lymphatic drainage massage is beneficial for people with lymphedema, a swelling caused by lymph fluid that is collected in the soft tissue due to genetic disorders, infection, cancer treatment, injury or surgery. Hot stone massage

During a hot stone massage, the therapist uses heated smooth hot stones to massage certain areas of the body. The heat relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist to work the muscles without using deep pressure. The use of hot stones is great for relaxation.

Cupping

Cupping involves the placement of cups directly on the skin to create suction. Suction from cupping draws fluid into the treated area. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under the skin. Your body treats the cupping area like an injury.
